One of the things that makes my heart so full of joy is when a couple (whose wedding I was blessed to have captured only a few years prior) have a baby and ask me to capture moments of this beautiful newborn sweet baby! When I got the message that Jennifer and Jesse had a baby girl and they wanted me to come and photograph her first moments I think I literally jumped up and down with excitement in my house. Now you might think I am nuts, but as a photographer, when I get to watch families grow from day one (engagements//wedding) to day 5678 (however many children the couple and form there on out) I mean this is really cool stuff we are talking about. And what an honor to be part of right!

I ventured up to their new beautiful home, and we were able to use the last of the incredible summer sun to capture both a combination of posed and natural moments of baby Ava with her mommy and daddy. I will admit it’s these natural moments of parents being parents that are my absolute favorite thing in the world to capture, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it.
